Studying medicine in Turkey
Turkish medical faculties combine strong academic training with modern teaching hospitals, and many offer the full program in English. Degrees are regulated by the Council of Higher Education (YOK) and recognised internationally, though to practise in a given country you must meet its own licensing rules.
Degree, duration, and entry
Medicine is a six-year program leading to a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Admission is based mainly on your high school grades, and some faculties ask for an entrance exam or interview. Competitive faculties expect strong results in science subjects.
